What a sh!t show this company is. There was no 'hard sell', no pressure, no judgment, no BS, just friendly, honest advice and help. Stick to your local bike shops who take care of their customers... Super sick showroom!! Shame as I had thought highly of them till now. What a great experience! These savings are passed on directly to you, the customer. I've upgraded the start rating to a 2 but I am still puzzled as to how horrendous the customer service is, then the product is so good. I bought an YT Capra cf comp 29 2019 and it arrived when they told me. Or if you need to be on the cheapest bike with the worst battery on the market get one of these and get what you pay for , I`m not a new customer - first bike ordered this year was a surprisingly positive experience (despite being at the height of Covid round 1)Fast forward 6 months and this time is a different story altogether. Many of the YT bikes were in back order, just like the rest of the industry. Got a new bike via YT, was a bit late arriving but nbd. I will be buying a Jeffsy XL as soon as they come back in stock, whenever that is!!!!!! I genuinely feel like i`ve been conned. 3 months later comes the worst: chainstay. My chainstay of course cracked again about 6 months later. After going back and forth between the Canyon Spectral CF and YT Jeffsy CF Pro I ended up going for a 2019 (brand new leftover) YT Jeffsy CF Pro 27.5. >>> MBR Trail Bike of the Year 2020. I have been trying to contact the customer service for more than a month about a warranty claim and missing parts, but nobody answers the e-mails or phone calls. It packed up after 3 rides I had it checked at a shimano centre first to avoid returning to Germany . From my initial purchase to current ownership of my Jeffsy, they have always responded within hours or instantly with all my email inquiries. I missed out on my first order In August because I ordered off bank account ( they sent an email and sold bike out under me next day with no time to respond from junk folder) then ordered over the phone another elite decoy. The bike arrived today and it is smoooooooth. Thanks JM for your support. Avoid this company! My advice to anyone buying a yt decoy is don’t be taken in by the showrooms or nice people which they are- if your bike goes wrong you are left without a ride and no idea when or if it’s being repaired. They just ignore you. I get they are direct to public so you can't expect the service of buying from a shop, however - hire an admin or two, temporarily if need be and respond to customers.There was little indication of such a backlog at hthe point of ordering. They had my bike ready in minutes and helped me carry the box to my truck. I have been trying to cancel my order & I have to say I have never experienced anything like it they do not respond to emails & wont answer the phone. (....still on hold. So now we are not comfortable going there due to the virus pandemic. Ordered and paid for a bike early august, was to be delivered in early september. IPA on tap, Red Bull's to drink and sick bikes everywhere. Then 2 month of waiting to get my bike back. Every communication is hard work. I discovered them when they were allready there for some time. This chainstay issue is a design failure / poor manufacturing which you will find on 2018 2019 and im sure that on the 2020 Shred and Al Base as well. It seems that YT really had the riders in mind when creating the Jeffsy. Weeks after shipping my bike to ‘not YeT Industries’ in Germany and only after I contacted them several times, they concluded that the chainstay needed replacement.
